Oregon Investment Fund Places Money With VCs

PORTLAND, OR – The Oregon Investment Fund announced that it has placed two investments with venture capital firms, both which are based out of state.

The fund placed funds with Sherbrooke Capital, based in Boston and with Nth Power which is based in San Francisco.  Both firms have offices in Oregon.  Sherbrooke Capital focuses on growth and expansion stage investments and Nth Power on early stage energy-related ventures.

The venture capital firms are required to invest the money primarily in Oregon or Pacific Northwest-based companies.
